Family Private Law Team

The Family Private Law Team has 47 barristers and is well renowned for dealing sensitively and effectively with disputes relating to children.  This team has vast experience of dealing with cases involving serious domestic and sexual abuse and emotional harm to children and their carers.

The team deals with residence and contact disputes, applications to remove children from the jurisdiction and child abduction cases.  Members act for parents and grandparents as well as for children’s Guardians. 
Members strive to achieve pragmatic and workable solutions for the parties.
