The Employment Team exudes strength in depth and undertakes work in all areas of employment and discrimination law. Members practice at all levels of the Tribunal and judicial hierarchy from the Supreme Court to the local employment tribunal and have been involved in some the leadings cases that have helped to shape this area of law.
Areas covered include:
- discrimination on the grounds of sex, race, disability, sexual orientation, age and religion and belief
- employee competition, directors duties and injunctive relief
- employment rights including status, remuneration and fringe benefits
- public law proceedings related to employment law and discrimination
- TUPE
- unfair dismissal
- wrongful dismissal and other issues concerning employment contracts
- whistleblowing (including claims for interim relief)
